In the fall of 2021, I was invited to participate in the Umbrella Alley Art Project, an alleyway of interactive murals and art installations next to Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. 12 other Bay Area artists and I painted the words, “California Dreaming’

I got the letter F! And of course, I painted a Baba Yaga, an old crone witch, who lives in a hut with chicken feet, from Slavic fairytales. She is reaching, lovingly, for the man in the moon.

Then, the Redfin blog named me a local Oakland expert! And featured this mural and Umbrella Alley, in it’s latest blog post, 10 Beautiful Places in Oakland, CA | Redfin. An article that asks Bay Area artists what are their favorite picturesque local spots. Check it out my friends.
